The smallest of all the video cassettes, these were introduced by Sony during the early 2000s. Although a lot of these tapes are still around, the format itself was never that successful, with the introduction of camcorders with hard drives and SD cards. The quality of the recordings from these little tapes was quite superb considering their size and just goes to show how advanced out technology had come along since the early day of camcorders.
